Terms of Service Effective Date: May 9, 2025 A. Definitions The following terms used in these Terms have the meanings specified below: We, Us, Our: Refers to MathPage. Service: Refers to all services provided by MathPage. User, You: Refers to an individual aged 13 or older who uses the website or services through an account. Account: Represents the legal relationship between MathPage and the user, serving as the means of authentication for accessing services. Content: Refers to code, documents, materials, images, photographs, software, and other items provided through the website or services. User Content: Refers to content created or owned by the user. Website: Refers to MathPage’s website under the mathpage.dev domain, including subdomains (e.g., ingang.mathpage.dev), and all associated content, services, and products. B. Account Account Creation: Accounts must be created by individuals, and creation through automated means, such as bots, is prohibited. Account Usage: An account may only be used by one individual and cannot be shared among multiple users. Each account is linked to one valid email address. Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities under your account. You must securely manage your account information and password, and you bear any damages resulting from account security breaches. Legal Use: The service must be used in compliance with South Korean laws and applicable regulations. Information Provision: A valid email address is required for account registration. Providing additional information (e.g., real name) is optional, though further details may be required for payment processes. Reporting Illegal Use: You must promptly notify MathPage if your account is used for illegal activities. C. Permitted Use Legal Use: The website and services must be used without violating copyright, trademark, or other applicable laws. Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you create. MathPage is granted rights to store, publish, and share your content as necessary to provide the service. Responsibility: You are responsible for any issues (e.g., copyright infringement, illegal use) arising from the content you upload or post. Content Management: MathPage reserves the right to reject or remove inappropriate or illegal content. Grant of Rights: You permit MathPage and other users to use your content for service-related purposes. This permission terminates when you delete your content. D. Content-Related Rights Rights Granted to MathPage: You grant MathPage the right to store, publish, copy, and analyze your content to provide and improve the service. This includes database storage, backups, retrieval, and performance (for audio/video), but does not include selling your content or distributing it outside the service. Rights Granted to Other Users: Content you set as public can be viewed by other users, who are granted worldwide rights to use and execute it through MathPage’s services. You must ensure that uploaded content allows for such rights to be granted. Moral Rights: You retain moral rights to your content but agree not to assert them against MathPage’s exercise of granted rights, except as limited. MathPage may disclose content as required by law and will notify you in such cases. Copyright Infringement: If you believe your copyright has been infringed, contact us at customer-care@mathpage.dev. False claims may result in legal consequences. Repeated violations may lead to account termination. Intellectual Property: MathPage owns the intellectual property rights to the website and services. You may only use these within the permitted scope. Trademark use must comply with MathPage’s trademark guidelines. E. License to Terms These Terms are provided under the Creative Commons Zero license. F. Payment Payment Responsibility: You are responsible for all fees (including taxes) associated with your use of the service. Fee Information: Fees and payment terms are available at ingang.mathpage.dev/system/pricing. Usage rates remain fixed during the payment term but may change upon term renewal. Payment Method: Services are billed monthly and are non-refundable. Usage-based fees may apply. Overdue Payments: In case of non-payment, MathPage may charge interest at 1% per month or the maximum legal rate (whichever is lower) and recover related costs. Payment Means: You must provide a valid payment method and agree to charges. Disputes regarding fees should be directed to customer-care@mathpage.dev. G. Account Cancellation and Termination Account Cancellation: You may cancel your account at any time through customer support. Data Handling: Account data will be deleted within 90 days of cancellation, though some information may remain in encrypted backups due to legal requirements. Data Requests: You may request a copy of your account content within 90 days of cancellation. Service Termination: MathPage may restrict or terminate access to the service at any time. Surviving Provisions: Provisions such as ownership, indemnification, and limitation of liability survive termination. H. Communications with MathPage Electronic Communication: You consent to communicate with MathPage via email or in-service electronic means. Legal Notice: Legal notices must be provided in writing to MathPage’s legal representative. Support: Support is provided solely through email and electronic messaging. I. Disclaimer of Warranties MathPage provides the service “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or accuracy. MathPage is not liable for service interruptions, errors, viruses, or other damages. J. Limitation of Liability MathPage is not liable for losses (e.g., loss of profits, data, or indirect damages) arising from your use or inability to use the service. This limitation applies regardless of whether MathPage was informed of potential damages and does not cover delays or failures beyond MathPage’s reasonable control. K. Indemnification You agree to indemnify MathPage against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms and to bear all related liabilities and costs. L. Changes to Terms Change Notification: Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via website notice or email. Acceptance: Continued use of the service after changes constitutes agreement to the revised Terms. Service Changes: MathPage may modify or discontinue the website at any time. M. Miscellaneous Governing Law: These Terms are governed by South Korean law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Gwangju City. Assignment: MathPage may assign these Terms or the Privacy Statement without your consent. You may not assign them without MathPage’s prior written consent. Invalid Provisions: If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Statement constitute the complete agreement between you and MathPage.
